Spectacle lenses can be broadly divided into two major categories, namely glass lenses and optical resin lenses. The glass lens has superior optical properties, high hardness, good wear resistance, is not easy to scratch, and its physical and chemical properties are relatively stable, but the glass lens has poor impact resistance and the weight is slightly heavier than the resin lens. Resin lenses are mostly lighter than glass lenses, and their impact resistance is stronger than that of glass lenses, but their surface hardness is low and they are more likely to be scratched.
